If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Acacia Hills Caravan Parks relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term ‘Acacia Hills Caravan Park’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

  • The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

BOOKING, CHECK IN, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY AND FEES

What you need to know

ONLINE BOOKINGS:

· Bookings payments are in advance and in full prior to check in unless taking advantage of our discounted weekly rates, whereby we will expect payments every 7 days but always in advance.

· Your booking is for a set time and once confirmed by you, any change or not showing up at all will still result in liability for payment of the whole of the time booked, unless you have cancelled in accordance with this policy.

· The balance of your account is payable on arrival and any additional charges incurred during your stay are payable prior to using the services provided (i.e. doggy day care, laundry tokens, Acacia Hills Merchandise)

· Bookings can be moved in accordance with availability; however, prices may change depending on the new booking period. Deposits paid can be held on client accounts for a maximum of 12months. Please note, if you do not rebook within the 12 months period your deposit will be retained by us.

· Acceptance of an accommodation booking is acknowledgement and agreement to our terms and conditions.

Check in: From 2.00pm to 5.00pm

· For arrivals after 5:00pm Monday to Friday

· 4.00pm Saturday and 4pm Sunday

Check out: By 11am on the day of departure.

Office hours: The Office is open

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 11.00am and 3.00pm – 5.00pm

Saturday 9.00am to 9:00 to 11.00am and 2:30 – 4pm

*Please be advised that the Site Manager may be required to do work away from the check in office. Ring the mobile number provided and wait for a staff member to assist you.

**Due to its rural location, if you are arriving after-hours and have not contact the office to give notice of this, you may be required to wait 30 minutes for a staff member to come to the site office, however we cannot guarantee the wait time nor can we guarantee the site office is manned 24 hours but will do our best to ensure that you are welcomed if you arrive outside of office hours.

Tariffs: All pricing is in Australian Dollars and includes GST (where applicable). Rates may be subject to change without notice.

Your tariff is based on the number of guests and your accommodation type at time of booking. Any changes to your booking may change the tariff based on the new booking period, number of guests and accommodation type.

Minimum Age: You must be 18 years or older to make a reservation. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Special Requests: We will endeavour to cater for special requests but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that these will be met.

Visitors: Are more than welcome! Please have visitors sign in at the office. Visitors staying overnight can be added to your booking at an additional cost.

Maximum number per site: The number of people accommodated in each caravan site is 2 adults or 2 adults and 2-3 children. A maximum of 5 people is allowed per site.

Damages/Loss: All registered guests shall be liable for any loss or damage which may occur during the course of their stay. Damage to the property of Acacia Hills Caravan Park will be billed to the registered guest.

General wear and tear excluded.

A fee may apply if excessive cleaning is required after departure.

Behaviour: Acacia Hills Caravan Park reserves the right to refuse entry, to immediately evict any guest, visitor or member of the public for any anti-social behaviour. Such behaviour may include but not limited to causing damage, disturbing other guests, using unacceptable language or otherwise breaking Park Rules. Alcohol may be consumed on your allocated site or cabin and in the camp kitchen and BBQ areas only. Drunken or disorderly behaviour or possession or use of Class A drugs will not be tolerated.

Park Facilities: Facilities are supplied for your use and enjoyment – they are regularly cleaned but please look after them and keep them as clean and tidy as possible so others may use and enjoy them too.

Fire Regulations: For safety reasons, we ask that you reverse into your site so that all drawbars face the roadway.

Smoking: Smoking is allowed in your private site and open common areas away from other guests and all cigarette butts to be collected in an ashtray.

Smoking is not allowed inside park facilities including the amenities blocks, camp kitchen and BBQ areas.

Additional cleaning fee of $50 of management has to clean a guest’s site that has discarded cigarette butts.

Car Parking: Each accommodation site is equipped for one vehicle per site/cabin. Please Park any additional vehicles or trailers in the overflow camping area.

Noise: Please keep noise to a minimum after 10pm in respect of other guests.

Personal Belongings: Acacia Hills Caravan Park takes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal items. Please remember to lock your caravan and/or vehicle when not occupied.

We may update the terms and conditions at any time by posting the updates on this page.

CANCELLATIONS:

DISCLAMER The administration fee for cancellations starts at $30.00. See further information below.

  • All cancellations and amendment requests must be received by phone, or email to info@acaciahills.com.au

  • Full Cancellation of accommodation received less than 3 days prior to your arrival will result in a loss of all payments made. If no deposit / or payment has been made, a $30 administration fee will be sent to the account holder.

  • incur an administration fee of $30.00 and 1 nights accomodation.

  • Failure to notify Acacia Hills Caravan Park of that you will Cancellations received within 7 days of your arrival will result in a loss of all payments made

  • There are no refunds for early departures

  • No shows will be charged for the full accommodation booked and a $30 administration fee.

REFUNDS CONDITIONS

· If you have provided the necessary notice of cancellation as per the cancellation policy and you are eligible to receive a refund, please note that for security reasons the remaining deposit will be refunded to the original method of payment (i.e. credit card refunded onto the same card as the one the deposit was paid on).

· Guests who fail to notify of cancellation or non-arrivals will forfeit all monies paid.

COVID-19 FLEXIBLE BOOKING POLICY

Notwithstanding any applicable rights under consumer law, guests will have the option to select a new date for their existing booking or accept a credit valid for up to 12 months, if, at the time of stay, any of the following criteria applies or is reasonably expected to apply:

  • You, or an immediate family member, have COVID–19 at the time of stay or you have tested positive for COVID–19 within 7 days prior to arrival:

  • Under a local health or government directive, you are required to self-isolate because you have been identified as a contact of a person who is a reported or suspected case of COVID-19 (note: the self-isolation requirements vary depending on the state and/or circumstances); or

  • A State Government or Commonwealth Government directive is issued and means you can no longer travel to, or from, your destination.

Note: You may be required to provide reasonable evidence that the above circumstances apply.


Awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test will not automatically give rise to a right of cancellation under the COVID-19 Flexible Booking Policy. If, within 72 hours prior to arrival, you have any COVID-19 symptoms and/or you are required to obtain a COVID-19 test, please contact the park directly to discuss your options, including the potential to defer the date of arrival and/or shorten your length of stay.


To utilise this policy a guest must have made their booking on acaciahills.com.au

 Any difference in booking value will need to be paid directly to the park as per their usual booking terms and conditions. To request either a change to booking dates or to receive a credit for a future booking in relation to the COVID-19 Flexible Cancellation Policy the customer will need to contact the park directly.


Changes and cancellations are possible at any time. Some minimum lengths of stay may restrict shortening of reservations. Extending of reservations is only available where possible. Cancellations may incur a forfeit of deposit or an administration fee.
